Games Org Support Posts

Policy for Games Organization Support Posts, to ​ensure consistency and fairness across all ​employment situations:

  • If you are part of a programmatic games layoff ​affecting three or more people, you can request ​games org support posts for all teammates still ​seeking work every three months.


  • If you are part of a programmatic games layoff ​affecting 200 or more people, you will receive two ​posts every three months: one as a "call to action" to ​let people know to sign up (or to boost your post), ​followed by the actual post itself. This approach is ​based on data collected over two years, recognizing ​that it requires much more effort to organize and ​assist such a large group compared to a smaller one. ​Additionally, a large number of people are typically ​missed if we post only once.


  • We will continue not to provide support posts for ​individuals or organizations consisting of one or two ​people.


  • While anyone can start the template for a games org ​support post (available at amirsatvat.com), I strongly ​prefer that it comes from an HR/Talent rep. This ​ensures we don't break any news in this community ​and that every person represented in the post has ​given individual consent and has the support of your ​talent team, as we have done for every post to date.
